BALAN Wonderworld Announcement Trailer Shows Off a Wonderful Platformer.

From Yuji Naka and Naoto Ohsima it's no Wonder... World.

You’ll be forgiven for missing BALAN Wonderworld in todays Showcase, as one of the more interesting reveals from the Xbox Games Showcase it wasn’t even in the actual event and was nestled away in the pre-show.

Yuji Naka and Naoto Ohshima explain that “When the balance in life between positive and negative emotions is broken, you might just find yourself in the Balan Theatre” and that they’re aiming to create an “Action game that packs in everything you can imagine from the genre ‘the action game of action games'”

One inside the theatre the player will help solve the worries of 12 unique characters by venturing in to unique worlds for each of them, solving puzzles with the help of over 80 costumes to wear each with their own ability to help you save the hearts and minds of the cast from their negative emotions.

The theatre setting also works wonderfully for the art style and music choices the creators have gone with, and from the trailer below, it definitely feels like a soundtrack that you’re going to want to add to your streaming platform of choice when the game comes out in Spring 2021.
